Event Difficulty

Difficulty is broken up into 3 separate categories:

Puzzle Difficulty is a 1-10 scale:

• 1 - Basic Simple Hunt. More of a walk-through really.
• 2 - Easy enough for young kids to solve. Meant to be an introduction to get people involved.
• 3 - Crosswords and Wordsearches are "puzzles" to you.
• 4 - Fairly simple logic/math puzzles at this level.
• 5 - Need some advanced puzzle solving skills. Caeser ciphers, cryptograms.
• 6 - Red herrings may exist here.
• 7 - Challenging. Purposeful clues, lots of puzzles to do.
• 8 - You will hurt your brain at this level.
• 9 - Cryptic puzzles, some even mechanical, many hours or days to solve. Introduction of unique challenging puzzles.
• 10 - Good luck bud.

Event Duration (i.e. how long would it take for the average person to complete the event)

• 1 - Up to an hour
• 2 - 2 to 6 hours
• 3 - 1 to 2 days
• 4 - 1 to 2 weeks
• 5 - weeks or even months

Physical Ability

• 1 - Breathing is a requirement.
• 2 - Basic Walking.
• 3 - Walking and/or Running. Driving a car possible.
• 4 - Off the trail exploration. Can involve slight climbing or bush-whacking.
• 5 - Off the trail extreme exploration, challenging physical activities like running long distances, climbing steep hills, spelunking.
